MonCabine was born from a simple frustration: buying a “cabin” suitcase and being turned away at the gate because the advertised dimensions did not match reality. We decided to do things differently: few products, clear sizes and honest information.
Our story
We don’t sell a thousand products. We prefer to take good care of a short selection.
MonCabine is a French sole proprietorship, based in Paris and active since 2019. Behind the site there is no large group and no call centre on the other side of the world: a small, independent business that answers its customers itself.
The starting point is simple: general stores label models as “cabin suitcases” when they exceed the permitted sizes, and the real dimensions are often buried at the bottom of the product page. We do the opposite: a short selection of cabin luggage, with dimensions stated clearly from the start.
Our rule: tell it like it is. Dimensions, weight, estimated capacity and the airlines where the model may be a tight fit are shown on the product page. No vague logistics promises, no waffle.
Our commitments
We don’t promise the moon. We stand by what we write.
Payments go through Stripe, on an SSL-certified site. We never store your card number.
If the model doesn’t suit you, you can return it within 60 days (beyond the 14-day legal withdrawal period). Prepaid return label, no endless questionnaire.
Tracking number sent by e-mail as soon as your order ships. Depending on the model and the carrier, allow 3 to 31 business days, with a precise date shown on each product page: we prefer an honest estimate to a false express promise.
No chatbot going round in circles. You write to [email protected], and we read and answer every message within 24 business hours.
Dimensions, empty weight, estimated capacity and compatible airlines are stated clearly, including the limits of each model.
Rather than an endless catalogue, a few models chosen to meet the cabin sizes of the main airlines.
